Dorri grew up in Florham Park, New Jersey where she attended Hanover Park High School. She was ecstatic to get accepted into her dream school, Penn State, following in the footsteps of her older brother. Dorri spent her 4 years in undergrad studying Biobehavioral Health, which is a modern major that focused on life factors, such as biology, psychology, environment, culture, and how they affect health and wellness. Dorri spent a semester of her undergraduate career studying in Barcelona, Spain.
After graduation, Dorri took a job with Pediatric Ophthalmic Consultants as a medical technician where she has grown tremendously. She has excelled at asking patients questions and documenting their answers to prepare the patient for the doctor. She used machines to test patients' eyesight. Her communication and organizational skills grew rapidly. In 2020, she was promoted to medical scribe and assistant, where she had the opportunity to sit in and assist in the doctors' exams. In addition, Dorri communicated with patients, their families, and their pediatricians to ensure timely follow ups and provide excellent patient care. In 2022, Dorri was again promoted to surgical coordinator. Dorri currently organizes patients surgeries. She hosts a network of communication with the patients, families, doctors, nurses, and hospitals to prepare patients for their surgeries. In this position, Dorri took on a great interest in the "marketing" aspect of surgical coordination. She enjoys discussing the process with patients and their families, answering all their questions, and providing excellent and timely care. She values each and every customer to ensure their experience is positive.
Dorri was thrilled to be accepted into Wake Forest's School of Professional Studies to earn her Masters in Digital Marketing. She understands how the ever-changing world of marketing is constantly moving into the digital world and she wants to be a part of it!
